Music has been shown to aid in memory recall for those living with dementia and can provide emotional release for those affected by the disease.
Singing with Dementia (formerly known as the Nuneaton and Bedworth Dementia Choir) is an inclusive initiative that welcomes anyone affected by dementia to come together and raise awareness while enjoying the simple pleasure of singing with new friends.
We hold weekly choir sessions where individuals living with dementia can sing together and share experiences over a cup of tea.
