Since February 2023, Volunteer Friends have been supporting individuals and families with the cost of living challenges by providing food packages with thanks to funding from Warwickshire County Council’s cost of living grant. In addition to this funding, we have also been grateful for the additional support of fresh and long life food from The Bulkington Volunteers, Sainsbury’s Leamington Spa and Langar Aid.

So far, 36 packages have been given out to 18 individuals / families. Although this project is not one of our main or well known projects, in the background, we are trying to do whatever we can to help those who need our support the most. We have also been working closely with Health Xchange to ensure our support is going to the right place at the right time.
